Decanted Red Wine is Sexy

2009 Beaujolais - gorgeous, and delicious


  1. So have you tried the _Modernist Cuisine_ trick of whizzing tight, young reds in a blender for 30 seconds or so so increase oxidation? It sounds like a ghetto trick, but I am coming to trust Myhrvold for techniques that work.

  2. I have never heard of that technique. I can imagine it certainly aerates, might be worth trying. Thanks.
