Food & Drink

I'm Chris - or Christopher - or Mr. Dean - or Master Christopher - or just plain Sir. I'm a self-professed foodie. I love to cook and I take great pleasure in all things edible. My husband and I are relatively new to Portland, Oregon and are enjoying our culinary explorations of the area!

Bloodcello?

I can't think of an appropriate name for this martini, but it's delicious and has some of my favorite things in it:  Limoncello, Vodka & Blood Orange Juice.

4 parts Vodka
1 part Limoncello (Sorrento is fantastic)
Juice of 1/2 of a Blood Orange
Splash of Cranberry

Shake with ice, strain into a martini glass.  Enjoy.

  1. I noticed you used Grey Goose. Do you find that this is the best for mixing and for martinis? And this drink looks bloody delicious. You have forced me, once again, to drink!

  2. I do really enjoy Grey Goose. I usually keep a bottle in the freezer so it stays really, really cold. And it's generally what I use for all my martinis. However I have been thinking I should branch out - maybe to Kettle One? It's just hard to veer away from something that has been such a kind, and good friend for so many years. :)
